La fin de carrière du n°1 mondial, forfait en Coupe Davis, est-elle en danger ?

Rafael Nadal devait, théoriquement, disputer cette semaine la demi-finale de Coupe Davis face à la France. Il espérait aider la Roja des courts à conquérir le dernier Saladier d’Argent, version vintage. Blessé au genou vendredi dernier, lors de l’US Open, face à Juan-Martin Del Potro, le n°1 mondial a évidemment revu tous ses plans et a déclaré forfait pour le rendez-vous de Lille. Dépité, il est aussitôt monté dans le premier avion, direction Manacor où il se ressource.
