Le Mémorial Frank Vandenbroucke dispose, à nouveau, d’un très solide plateau. Avec Philippe Gilbert en tête d’affiche, qui va attirer tous les regards. Car l’ancien champion du monde a marqué les esprits avec son retour rapide à la compétition, deux mois à peine après sa fracture de la rotule, conséquence de sa terrible chute dans un ravin de la descente du Col Portet-d’Aspet, sur le Tour de France.
