Il y a plusieurs parallèles mais une grande différence entre le RSCA et le Fenerbahçe. Anderlecht n’est pas le seul grand club emblématique en Europe à connaître la pire crise de son histoire. Le FC Fenerbahçe, son adversaire en Europa League en début de saison (2-2 à Anderlecht, 2-0 à Istanbul) est tombé encore plus bas. Les parallèles entre les deux clubs sont flagrants. Mais il y a une grande différence : le président est adoré par les fans, nombreux au stade.
