Kirsten Flipkens Emportée par la tornade Battue (6-1, 6-3) par Jelena Ostapenko, quart de finaliste ici l’an passée, Kirsten Flipkens n’a absolument rien pu faire face à la puissance dévastatrice adverse. "Elle a vraiment super bien joué, il n’y avait rien à faire. C’était trop fort. Même en breakant en début de deuxième set, mais elle a vraiment super bien retourné ensuite aussi. J’étais à 70 % de premières balles, c’est super bien, mais même là je n’avais pas d’opportunités pour rester dans le match. Je savais que le premier service était super important mais même là elle a sorti des coups gagnants, donc bien joué à elle et à la prochaine."
