Ineos : à deux, c’est toujours mieux…

Comme l’année dernière, la formation britannique prendra le départ de ce Tour avec deux leaders : Thomas et Bernal.

Comme l’année dernière, la formation britannique prendra le départ de ce Tour avec deux leaders : Thomas et Bernal. Si une note de rouge est bien venue remplacer la touche de bleu qui colorait autrefois la tenue du Team Sky, la métamorphose de la formation britannique en Team Ineos n’aura été que cosmétique. Hier, dans l’une des grandes salles de l’hôtel Courtyard Marriott d’Evere qu’occupe l’armada d’outre-Manche pour ce Grand Départ, on a pensé un instant avoir emprunté une machine à remonter le temps et être revenu en Vendée, il y a douze mois, lorsque le manager Dave Brailsford tentait de persuader son auditoire que la cohabitation entre Chris Froome, alors vainqueur sortant du Giro, et Geraint Thomas, tout frais lauréat du Dauphiné, serait naturelle.
