Le Français, ballotté, chahuté depuis le début du Tour, a répondu en s’imposant à Pau En franchissant en vainqueur la ligne d’arrivée tracée sur la rue du Maquis Le Béarn qui jouxte la place de Verdun, à Pau, Arnaud Démare a poussé un cri qui en disait long sur la rage qui trouvait ainsi un exutoire.
