Pozzovivo aux soins intensifs après avoir été percuté par une voiture

Le cycliste italien Domenico Pozzovivo (Bahrain-Merida) a été renversé par une voiture à l’entraînement en Italie du côté de Cosenza en Calabre et a été relevé avec de "multiples fractures au bras et à la jambe".

Le cycliste italien Domenico Pozzovivo (Bahrain-Merida) a été renversé par une voiture à l’entraînement en Italie du côté de Cosenza en Calabre et a été relevé avec de "multiples fractures au bras et à la jambe".

"Le coureur est en soins intensifs et, même si son état est stable et qu’il est conscient, il va devoir être opéré", a expliqué son équipe Bahrain-Merida. "Pozzovivo a été sérieusement blessé lors d’un accident à l’entraînement sur les routes de Cosenza, en Italie lorsqu’il a été impliqué dans un accident avec une voiture. Il a été transporté directement en ambulance à l’hôpital d’Annunziata à Consenza pour être pris en charge aux soins intensifs." Domenico Pozzovivo, 36 ans, devra très probablement déclarer forfait pour le Tour d’Espagne qui débute le 24 août.
