Le Français a, par deux fois, manqué l’occasion de contre-break. Sébastien Ogier sera passé par tous les sentiments lors de cette journée de samedi un peu folle et peut-être déterminante pour le Championnat. La rage d’abord quand il s’est élancé le couteau entre les dents, trois dixièmes derrière le leader Thierry Neuville. Un énorme soulagement ensuite quand il apprit que son grand rival pour la gagne, mais aussi le titre avait cassé sa suspension dans l’ES8. "C’est le jeu!" , se réjouissait-il à cet instant. Mais la joie du Français fut de courte durée.
